About Everest Base Camp Trek

This 15-day trekking is an opportunity to realize these dreams, challenge yourself and explore the majesty of the mountains and your potential. Walking between the giants of nature, immersed in the feeling of freedom, this feeling comes from leaving Wi-Fi and Netflix in a small teahouse to play cards, learn about the life of the Sherpa and watch the sunrise on Mount Everest. Transfer to Trekkers Home, and prepare for the next day's Mount Everest Base Camp Trek.

In the morning, take a spectacular 40-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla-perched at 2,865 meters (9,400 feet) in the Khumbu region of eastern Nepal, with unforgettable terraces and river valleys below, and near Admire the highest mountains in the world before heading to Phakding (8700 feet, 2650m). After a scenic walk on a relaxing afternoon, set up an overnight at homestay. Overnight stay

Through the magnificent forest of rhododendrons and end your nature journey at Namche Bazaar (7 hours from Phakding). As you pass this usually steep long-distance passage, you can experience the scenery  blue pine forest and beautiful overview of the Everest.

Enjoy the beauty of the quaint village of Namche, as well as the friendliness and hospitality of the local residents. Also can also visit the local museum, which displays exhibits showing the region's native flora and fauna and the history of the Everest region.

Participants begin their trek with awe-inspiring, unforgettable views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse , Cholatse, Kantaiga, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. This stretch of the trek (approximately 3 hours) is quite an easy walk from Namche to Phunki, followed by a three hour ascent towards Tengboche.

Journey towards Pheriche and trek through forests filled with of a variety of lush trees - birch, conifers and rhododendron. This picturesque trail dips down to Devuche, crossing the Imja River before climbing up to Pheriche where there is an HRA Trekkers' aid post and possible medical assistance (should it be required)

Acclimatize for trekking. Follow the invaluable suggestions/advice of guides while taking short journeys to Dingboche and Chhukung while simultaneously experiencing the various but beautiful views of Himalayas.

Continuation of ascent, climbing up to the terminal debris of Khumbu Glacier - crossing the row of stone monuments: established in the memory of six Sherpa who perished as the result of an avalanche at Lobuje

Enduring a climb of approximately three (3) hours to arrive at Gorak Shep where you are treated to yet another beautiful view of Mt. Everest and Pumori - reaching Kala Patthar (within two hours of trekking). Once observing one of the most up-close and formidable views of Mt. Everest from Kala Patthar, return back to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay.

Walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to the Everest Base Camp (5380m) - the closest destination reachable without proper mountain-climbing equipment. Here, enjoy the spectacular view of the Khumbu Icefall from the world-renowned Mount Everest Base Camp before descending to Dingboche for the evening.

Further return-descent to Namche Bazaar - once again traversing the beautiful, prismatic forests of blue pine and rhododendro

An easy walk down to Phakding for the second last night's stay in the Khumbu region - participants can explore Phakding, a rapidly changing portion of the Himalayas.

In the morning, walk down to Lukla providing unforgettable views of the terraced landscape and river valleys below, as well as up-close perspectives of some of the world's highest mountains followed by a trip to Lukla (8700ft, 2650m)
